FAQ
Can I get a bank loan for an auction property?
Yes. Most local banks provide housing loans for auction properties. However, we strongly recommend obtaining a loan pre-approval before placing a bid.
What happens to my deposit if I lose the bid?
If your bid is unsuccessful, your 10% bank draft will be refunded to you in full immediately after the auction event.
Who pays for the outstanding bills (quit rent, assessment, maintenance fee)?
This depends on the terms in the Proclamation of Sale (POS). In most cases, the foreclosing bank will reimburse basic outstanding charges up to a specified limit.
